A New Normal

I am not going to go into details, but feel that I need to let everyone know what has been going on.  I am very behind with the blog and hope to get back into the habit of making posts more regularly.  However, at the moment our family has been going through some very trying times.  Please respect our privacy by not posting questions or comments about this.  Unfortunately, Ben moved out on December 1.  I have been spending the weekends at my friend's house so Ben can spend time with the boys.  We are working very hard to make sure the boys are OK through this whole situation, they are our primary concern.  They have been told very basic information and know that Ben is no longer living at home with us, but that they will be seeing him on a regular basis.  I would like to thank all of my friends and family who have jumped in and helped me out during this tough time.  I really appreciate everything you have all been doing to help me out.

Now that I have gotten that out of the way I want to get to more positive things.  Tyler is growing up so fast! He is now crawling, getting into a sitting position on his own, saying mama, and babbling tons.  He has 3 teeth with a 4th one almost ready to break through the gum.  I can't believe he is almost 8 months old already.  My big man is wearing 18 month clothing and in size 3 diapers (the twins wore size 4 diapers at 4 years old!).  I will make another post with lots of pictures...

I wanted to add a quick note saying we survived Hurricane Sandy.  Our power went on and off a few times, but always came back on pretty quickly.  Schools were closed Monday-Wednesday so far due to the storm.  There are lots of road closures and power outages in our area still though.
